Holiday Party

Over the weekend was Greg's work Holiday/New Year Party.  True, it is a little bit past the holidays, but I think they actually had a better turn out since people in general aren't quite as busy now compared to right before Christmas.  It was held at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.  We basically got to mingle around the exhibits with wine and cocktails (water for me, of course) while waiters would bring around trays of appetizers.  Then a little later they had actual serving stations of food - right next to the dinosaurs!  It was neat being in the museum outside of their regular hours.  But really, the best part for me was seeing a bunch of our friends from when we were in Baton Rouge.  Greg sees some of them at work regularly, but others are at different offices, or still back in Louisiana.  I haven't really seen any of them since we moved.  It was great catching up again!  Unfortunately we completely forgot to bring our camera.  But we did get this picture from Shaun and Laura.
