I went again for another ultrasound and OB appointment today, and everything is looking right on schedule. Baby's individual measurements (head, abdomen, femur, etc) all were between 31 and 32 weeks, and baby is now estimated to be 4 lbs 1 oz! Heartrate was 136 bpm, and baby was in head down position. The nasal mass has gotten slightly larger, but the doctors expected this as baby grows. The main thing is to make sure it doesn't grow exponentially, which is why I am getting ultrasounds so frequently.
And guess what? Baby has hair! I didn't realize you could tell that on the ultrasound, but the tech pointed out some lines near the nape of the neck and said that is baby's hair. Baby was also napping with arm/hand up by his/her face again - seems to be a comfy position for it. It will be interesting to see if he/she likes sleeping like that after it's born. He/she also had a little pouty mouth while sleeping too. Then they had me change positions a little and baby seemed to move a little bit, stuck it's tongue out and then that is when the tech got the 3D face shots. I think this is the first picture I have shared that really shows the nasal glioma. The hopes are that it is just a simple surgery to have it removed after birth. Baby sure is looking more and more like he/she is ready to be born - which makes me realize I have a lot to do in the next few weeks to get ready. Sounds like a shopping spree is in order!

aww! Can't wait for his/her arrival!! I'm so excited for ya'll! I know the glioma is a bit scary, but I am sure your baby is in great hands with your doctors. Wish I was there to go shopping with you! I love baby stuff!! I kinda miss it...then I saw my nephew over Christmas...1 1/2 years old and into EVERYTHING (including the toilet once)...and I was so glad that we have finalized that part of our lives. haha! It was fun as we went through it though...good times and memories! David wasn't even as "busy" as my nephew...but I figure we're playing with fire if we tried again. haha!
