A New Orleans Farewell

This weekend we had to say good-bye to one of our good friends we made while here in Louisiana.  Becky is headed off to sunny California, and this was her last weekend in town.  So we decided to have some fun in New Orleans one last time before she left.

We enjoyed a walking tour of the French Quarter, wandered around a bit, had a delicious dinner at Emeril's NOLA, and listened to some great music at Preservation Hall.  We even ran into Steven Tyler from Aerosmith.  When we saw him, he was talking to some officers outside the courthouse.  Then he headed into an antique weapons shop.  We later found out he was in town for some American Idol stuff.  Of course before we left the next morning we had a breakfast of yummy beignets at Cafe Du Monde.  But most of all we enjoyed the company of some good friends!
