Annual Cider Mill Trip

This weekend we headed up to Ann Arbor for a taste of fall.  Autumn has been the season I find myself missing most of all by living in the south now.  The cool, crisp air.  The changing colors of the tree leaves.  And of course fresh cider and doughnuts.  You just can't get that here in Texas.  Greg usually gets to go back to the University of Michigan campus each fall for ExxonMobil recruiting.  So we always try and bridge his trip over a weekend to visit our families and to get my "autumn fix."  This year we kept true to tradition - First we picked up some sandwiches from Maize and Blue Deli, then headed over to the Dexter Cider Mill for our fresh cider and doughnuts.  After that we headed over to a local state park to enjoy our feast!  This year even involved pumpkin carving.  Hopefully next year we can introduce baby to the wonders of fall in Ann Arbor!

I love the difference of expressions on my parents faces!

Hmm - what is Greg up to in his design?
