We got another little sneak peak at our little bean today! I had been having some spotting, and since I basically have had no pregnancy symptoms to speak of yet, I was concerned. So I called the doctor about it. They said just to be on the safe side I could come in and get checked out. Everything still looks perfect though! Baby was measuring 3.02 cm (9 weeks 6 days) and had a heartbeat of 161 beats per minute. We even got to see it kick his/her arms and legs! Turns out a small subchorionic hematoma (SCH) was the culprit of my bleeding. I guess they are very common and often occur as the placenta is attaching to the uterus. Again, here are the 4 images we got to take home:

Again, pretty much still a little blob - but I sure think it's a cute little blob!
